Response to the Social Care Wales consultation on registration requirements

The Homecare Association have responded to Social Care Wales' consultation on proposed changes to registration.

While the changes in requirements for social care managers and the allowance of six years for completing a level 3 qualification are to be welcomed; the Homecare Association encourages Social Care Wales to consider an additional tier of registration that allows people who want to work in the sector without completing the level 3 qualification to undertake certain tasks.
