Infection Prevention & Control Workbooks in Wales
New Infection Prevention and Control workbooks have been issued in Wales to support staff training. PHW say:
"These 76-80 page A5 Workbooks are for each member of staff to keep as part of their portfolio as well as a point of reference for day to day working. The Workbooks have a guided learning time of 3 hours to complete with ‘Test your knowledge’ at the end of each section with a certificate to be signed off by management. On completion of the Workbooks, it can count towards your CPD requirement for your profession and requirements for social care registration.
The certificates are valid for a year with a new test sheet and certificate available to order from Spring 2024. The workbooks will be reviewed in 2025 and any changes in policy will be posted in the updates section of the website."
