Home Instead Ipswich Raises £500 in Ipswich Defeat Dementia Walk

In a heartwarming community effort, Home Instead Ipswich, Woodbridge & Felixstowe recently participated in the Ipswich Defeat Dementia Walk, raising £500 for dementia support.

The Ipswich Defeat Dementia Walk, held on October 14, 2023, brought together individuals from all walks of life to support those affected by dementia. Home Instead, a provider of home care services, joined this event, emphasising their commitment to improving the lives of seniors and dementia patients.

In a show of community unity, the Mayoress of Ipswich, more than happy to pose for a photo, shared her personal gratitude with the Home Instead team. She expressed her deep appreciation for their support, stating, "You supported me greatly with caring for my mother before she passed."

Residents of all ages united in the walk, demonstrating a shared responsibility in fighting dementia.
